Patent Information Specialist - Do you like investigation? Linking pin between 'the world of patents' and our 'state of the art' technologies
Your job You are the linking pin between 'the world of patents' and our R&D, with its product development projects. As a Patent Information Specialist you are supporting our Patent Attorneys. They are building their cases, and you are delivering the relevant information.
To be successful you need to know where your R&D colleagues are working on. You have close contact with our development projects to perceive patent issues. Based on this information you search in databases, explore and analyze relevant literature and come up with conclusions. You report your findings to the patent attorneys and/or your colleagues of the development project. Further, you spot trends and developments in relevant technologies to extend Oc?'s knowledge base. Also, you support informed decisions when choosing strategies for the research & development of new products.

We are interested when you
- have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Informatics. Or a background Physics or Electronics with experience in, or affinity with software
- are looking for a job where you can combine your technical knowledge with your drive for investigation and solving
- are an enthusiastic, persistent and a strong communicator
- have strong analytical skills and excellent reading and writing skills and also good knowledge of English
Though working experience in a professional research & development environment is an advantage, related (working) experience is not required. Candidates will get the opportunity to obtain the diploma "Patent Information Specialist" Also already having experience as a Patent Information Specialist is an advantage.
